Jim Pritchard frequently acts as an expert witness in civil and criminal proceedings in County, Admiralty and Crown Courts, representing client's interests in insurance, yacht construction and re-fit contract disputes, and as an expert witness in criminal actions. His field of expertise is based on the construction, refit, repair and maintenance of power and sailing yachts.

Jim is authorised by the IIMS Certifying Authority to undertake examinations in connection with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency Code of Practice for Small Commercial Vessels.
